Reginald Walker, CA CPA

Title

Reginald Walker, CA CPA has 14 years work experience in the financial service sector as a regulator and auditor. He began his career in 2000 with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Bermuda).  During his time with PWC he was a member of the Investments Division, performing assurance engagements for financial firms.

In 2005, Mr. Walker joined the Bermuda Monetary Authority’s Insurance Supervision Division. While at the Authority he filed various roles which exposed him to the captive and commercial insurance sectors. He supervised insurers through all stages of their life cycle from start-up to Run-off.  He managed a small team which was responsible for conducting on-site reviews and monitored insurers dealing with compliance issues.

Mr. Walker joined the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulatory Authority in 2015. During his time with the PRA he was a member of a team responsible for the supervision of Lloyd’s of London Managing Agents. He was exposed to the Lloyd’s Market and Solvency II.

Mr. Walker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Dalhousie University and Chartered Professional Accountant Designation.
